Laminate

  • Pros:

    • ​Highest durability and resistance among all cabinet finishes.​​​​

    • Eco-Friendly

    • Low Maintenance

    • Consistent Appearance

    • Variety of Styles/Colors

  • Cons:

    • Limited Repair Options​

    • Limited Realism

    • Can be sensitive to extreme heat or moisture

Stain/Glaze

  • Pros:

    • Traditional, Natural Look (Highlights Wood Texture)​

    • Easier Touch Up

    • Long-Lasting (Much longer than paint - when properly taken care of)

    • Cost

  • Cons: 

    • Maintenance ​(Less Maintenance than paint, but the same principle applies: Inadequate care and maintenance contribute to the downfall of the product)

  • Pros:

    • Aesthetic Versatility​

    • Hide Wood Imperfections

    • Cost (Most expensive of all finishes)

    • Susceptible to Chips and Cracks​
